Successful Capital Project Delivery – The Twin Mountain Story
An Excursion
Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 1:00pm (Approximate arrival – travel time from MWH)
Like so many places in New Hampshire, Twin Mountain was faced with the need to replace and update aged town facilities including its town offices, fire and police stations. This off-site excursion will explore how this small town was able to move the needle on modernizing their public safety buildings to improve service delivery to the community as well as increasing the safety measures afforded their public safety employees. Like many communities, Twin Mountain recognized that their police and fire stations had limited capacity to address statutory requirements for firefighter cancer, mental health, and law enforcement initiatives. From concept to completion, you’ll hear the first-hand story of the challenges and pitfalls associated with large capital improvement projects.
